PLACES TO DREAM

A screened-in patio on a rainy day,
A porch swing on a warm summer nightt,
In front of A fireplace on a cool autumn night,
A window seat with a good cup of coco,
A tree-lined lane,
Lying on your back on somebody's newly mowed lawn,
Before Sunday school when everybody's gathering at the church,
In a recliner wrapped in a blanket,
Sitting in somebody's car, listening to the conversation going on around you.,
A rocking-chair passed down from generation to generation.
So, where do you like to dream, or daydream? I used to not do it, but I do now, and it seems I'm still dreaming the same dreams as I did 30 years ago.

I have this glider chair and the stool even glides. I love to sit in it with a good book or cd and sometimes just to dream and think. by a fire and sitting on an outside glider is good for dreamming to. Smile B

On my bed, sitting or laying down.
Riding on the bus.
While I'm waiting for someone.
While I'm writing a letter to someone.
This list can go on and on.
Mostly, daydreams flood my mind when a sound reminds me of a place I've been in. Or when a certain odor reaches my nose. Or when i read something that really impresses me. It could be a simple little word, like big, or high, or old, and this is enough to get my imagination going.

Well, yes, there's so many places to dream. And I love daydreaming. Especially, after I've read a good book. Now, I'm not much into movies though. I think reading does more for me than movies.
